I’m constantly changing, 
Becoming someone better.
When I thought I was at my best, 
God taught me that
I’m not that clever.
Sending me test after test,
The faith in my heart, 
he has to measure.
How can we say we deserve the prize, 
If we can’t stand to sit in the dessert?
I’ll never crumble, I’ll never quit.
Because I know that the Devils watching 
And he loves that shit. 
I pray for my enemies,
The ones who act like friends to me.
Yet behind my back,
Their hearts are full of resent for me.
Some people hate you,
because your strong.
While others embrace you, 
for your wisdom .
I focus on the bigger picture, 
Because my bills aren’t paid by anyone’s opinion.
My inner peace relies on me.
Solely on my state of mind. 
If I focus on my grind, 
I won’t drop a dime  
& I won’t waste any time.
So I’ll do just that, 
Prepare for the better days ahead.
Even when I’m “in the making,”
I hear voices in my head.
Telling me that I’m destined for greatness,
And that’s why I must face this.
Because how can I maintain all of my fortunes,
When I haven’t had to chase them ? 
So many tests in our lives, 
But we must replace them,
With lessons and blessings, 
And in turn we rearrange them.
Putting our lowest points 
in a position of power,
Because we face them 
and we embrace them. 
I’ll never go back 
to the people who harmed me.
I’ll pray for them from a distance. 
I don’t need their bad vibes around me,
I’ll never go back to weak ways of thinking.
Falling for the devils lies 
As if I live to be sinking,
And Proving myself to others, 
As if they even deserve any recognition.
We have to aggressively think positive, 
Even when the pieces 
of the puzzle aren’t linking.
Because our failures will always 
Put us directly on to the path, 
That we’ve been overthinking:
On to better places and finer things.
A wiser approach to the life that we’re living.
This life of ours:
Its not a race or a competition.
It’s a steady and constant mission,
To face our demons and dismiss them.
To bring light to the darkness,
Even when we are tired.
I will fight, I will conquer.
I will never retire.
I will spread my message, 
Because that’s why I was hired.

If you just close your eyes 
Pray, have faith,
